  • *Have something interesting to say
  • *Remove the sales pitch
  • *Customize
  • *Focus on entertaining
  • *Overdress
  • *Don't denigrate the competition
  • *Tell stories
  • *Precirculate with the audience
  • *speak at the start of an event
  • *ask for a small room
  • *pratice and speak all the time
