  1. Somehow I prefer hardcopies where I can feel/touch or even smell (not that I often do).Sometimes just the sight of my books sitting on the shelves gives me some kind of satisfaction. Come to think of it my hobby is more of collecting books rather than reading books. I couldn't really catch up with the reading anymore.

Well, even if they are free, no thanks.

  2. A good resource. I better start finding a more durable storage facility to store the numerous electronic books I've collected to date.

  3. hi splim,

I know what you mean. There is nothing better than a book in your hands. The texture, the smell, the crispiness of the paper...

Problem is, some books go out of print and become impossible to find. Also when you travel, you do not have to lug around a big suitcase of books as I do. :)

Didn't know you are a Presbyterian. I thought you are worshiping in PJEFC

  9. Hi SP Lim,

I was raised a Presbyterian! But for the last 14 years, I have been worshipping in PJEFC. Some say, once you are a Presbyterian, you are a Presbyterian...!

  11. Hi Kar Yong,

I was baptized in a Lutheran church. Got married in a Methodist church (where my membership still remains). Now am worshiping in a Presbyterian church. I don't think I have any problem with the Westminster Confession of faith and as far as the doctrine of salvation is concerned, I think I'm Reformed. Wonder whether that's enough to make me a Presbyterian.

Look forward to meeting you on the 3rd of Nov in CDPC!
