Nyok Ling and I were medical officers and trainee in Paediatrics in Johor Bahru General Hospital (now Hospital Sultanah Aminah). We developed a friendship that came from serving under a difficult boss!She was transferred to Kuala Lumpur and remained in government service. In time she received her well deserved datukship. We met up in paediatric conferences and over phone calls for patient referrals.
Nyok Ling is a good friend and I shall miss her.
